Sugar Creek
Sugar Creek is a 19.5 square mile watershed made up of Edson, Darby, and Sugar Creeks along with additional small drainage courses that empty directly into Lake Erie. This entire watershed network is found within Erie County just west of Vermilion and drains to Lake Erie’s Central Basin. The land use in this watershed is 44% agriculture, 16% urban, and 40% natural areas consisting mainly of forest area.
