Frank Hill
has farmed the Old Woman Creek Watershed for 48 years. He lives in Berlin Township with his wife, Mary Jane, and has 4 adult children.   Frank farms 1300 acres of corn, soybeans, and wheat in Erie and Huron County.  He has been a cooperator with the District since the 1980s and has implemented several conservation projects on his farm, including a manure storage pond, Water and Sediment Control Basin (WASCoB), grassed waterways, subsurface tile systems, cover crops, and utilizes no-till planting in his operation. Growing up on Old Woman Creek, Frank has an appreciation for this resource and wants to see the local stream quality improve and remain healthy.

Phil Weilnau
and his wife, Mary, reside in Milan Township.  They have 3 daughters ranging in ages from 12 to 25.  Phil graduated from Edison High School and continued on to earn a degree in computer science from Bowling Green State University.  Although he still works occasionally as a computer consultant, Phil spends most of his time on the family farm.  Phil is the seventh generation to work on his 1400 acre farm where he and his father primarily raise popcorn.  Phil serves on the Milan Township Zoning Commission, enjoys spending time with his family, and likes to play guitar and keyboard when time permits. He is proud to say that he incorporates conservation practices on his farm by planting cover crops and using no-till on 100% of his land.
