Though it’s not quite spring yet, ‘tis the season…for Pheasants Forever Banquets, that is! Many of the Pheasants Forever Chapters across this country will hold their annual banquet during the months of February, March and April. It’s an awesome time of gathering of individuals, friends, and families for food, fellowship and fundraising!
The evening’s festivities typically are chockfull of activities, such as live auctions, silent auctions, various raffles, and lots of spirited comradery. And here’s the neatest thing about the funds that are raised that evening; 100 percent goes towards habitat improvement, conservation, and education on the importance of restoring, preserving and protecting our natural resources.
You don’t have to necessarily be a hunter to appreciate the conservation efforts put forth by your local Pheasants Forever Chapter. So, whether you’ve never attended a PF Banquet in the past, or are a familiar face at one of these, consider putting one of the upcoming events on your calendar.
Two local Pheasants Forever Chapters will be looking to hold their banquets this coming March. The Ere-Ottawa-Sandusky PF Chapter Banquet will take place on Saturday, March 8th, at the Camp Perry Clubhouse, west of Port Clinton. If you can’t make that one, the Seneca PF Chapter will be holding their banquet at the Meadowbrook Park Ballroom in Bascom, on Saturday, March 22nd. Get your reservations in now and plan for one fun-filled evening!
